What does God’s Word say about you? Have you ever wondered “who you are” and “why God made you”? God has given each of us unique abilities and talents that define us to some degree. For example, you may be a spectacular in sports, awesome artist, fabulous singer, exceptional dancer, or maybe you excel in academics. These wonderful talents are the outward expressions of your God given gifts and talents. What about the deeper part of you?
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. I Corinthians 6:19
When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, your body became the very temple of the Holy Spirit. No matter where you go, what you do, or how you feel, the Holy Spirit is working in your mind and soul to help you live out your God given purpose, which is unique to you. No one else can do what God has set forth for you to do! As God’s children we are good at ignoring the Holy Spirit, but His guidance is for our good and provides a wonderful adventure!
God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that. I Corinthians 1: 8-9 (The Message)
