Deciding to Live a Lifestyle of Purity
Chapter One: And the Bride Wore White
We must determine to place ourselves in His presence daily in order to have the courage to choose purity. "God's grace does not automatically keep us from worldly passions. In all your love for God, you could be blindsided by worldly passions" (p. 14-15).
Stand before God in prayer and ask Him to teach you. The book is filled with celebrations and honesty. One celebration story by Jacqueline Gardner empowers us in our failures in purity to "start walking.....so here's my hand....let's brush off our scraped knees and help each other up. Let's walk home together, sweet sister of mine. Our Father is waiting for us!"
Feeling like you failed? There is hope! Feeling like you need direction and a road map towards purity? Take the Bible Study in your hand, read it wholeheartedly and with a sincere heart to seek God.
Moms --take this opportunity to read WITH your daughter. Their journal can be their alone time with Jesus but review the questions and think on them in the privacy of your time with Jesus. I loved listening to my daughter read chapter one, and I took notes as God spoke to my heart.
I was overwhelmed as God shared His promises and mercy. Spend this sweet time with your daughter.
